Carvin SB5000 and SKB formed gig bag

I'm awaiting my new SB5000 and am wondering if the shape of the horn fits within the shape of a traditional jazz bass? Will it fit any of the form-fitting gig bags by SKB or others, or am I stuck with a traditional, loose gig bag?

Can't say for sure. (I know, then why are you replying to my thread you idiot)

I thought new Carvins came with cases included in the price of the bass.

It does come with a hardshell case, but I like using a gig bag so I can just throw it over my shoulder or carry it like a backpack. Plus, a gig bag has nice pockets for carrying extra stuff, like lead sheets and a small amp head or DI.

I guess the thing I'm considering is really of "softshell" case. It's got a sculpted foam liner as opposed to just the bass moving around freely within a gig bag.
