casady in black

overall its fine and ....and just as i expected the frets need dressing...but other than that its a good true semi acoustic ....i need more time to play with it and im not wild about the strings ...so after a few changes i can see its going to be real good .The tone has that woody feel to it ...the neck is a little thicker than im used to ...i will know more after i use it on a few tracks.

well if it was black with white edging like the stingray ..i would possibly consider leaveing it on but it was cream coloured like the pickup cover and kind of cheap.

getting some great tones out of it as we speak!! really compliments my other basses.

this guitar really lends itself to false harmonics above the 12th so easily.....you can really jazz out and then drop down into a rock groove ....and that reaostat set at 500....its like a one way ticket to 60s acid experimentation....i think jack knew what he was doing when he put this together...unlike the fretwork...made in korea and setup in the usa....maybe it should have all been done in korea.

i tried jack first time round but i couldnt get an email response....however i think that it would be the best bet because he sets them up himself ....which has to be way better than whoever set my one up.
