Hello,

I am not sure where this belongs, sorry if this is in the wrong place. I have just bought a new used case and it has a few white marking on it. What can I use to make it look nice and black again?

But then, it would eventually get scratched again with normal use. They (the scratches) seem so superficial...just wondering why you want to fuss with it?

I haven't received the case yet so I am not sure how bad it is. I am a very anal person when it comes to my equipment.

A case takes the abuse of the outside world and protects the instrument. Anyway... just jeep painting it to keep it fresh. Oh and get a scrip for valium so you don't care anymore

Hey, ya wanna get really anal?

Buy a Duratex trial-size kit ($19.95) from ACRY-TECH COATINGS and do the entire case. Its really easy to use. If the case is wood fiber or masonite-type material, this stuff will adhere well. If its plastic or synthetic composite, it might not work.
