Cat peed in my Amp

You attribute too much to cats.
Cats never go out of their way for anything.
The amp, clearly must have been in the cat's way.
Cats do not attribute monetary value to things.
But we do value some things in common.
Warm place to sleep, something to eat, a clean bathroom.
Other than that we're not much more than a couple of re-arranged DNA strands from being cats ourselves.
meow

I get all this. But cats have to know, almost certainly know, that cat pee is horrible. And that's how they use it.

Yup! It is a tool in Jinx' bag of tricks. They know it works to send a message to other cats.
I suppose cats also attribute too much to us.
They probably "think" that we get the same message as another cat would.
Whoever said cats are "low maintenance" never owned a cat.

We have a Beagle and a cat.
The Beagle is truly maintenance free; I think he felt bad for a day or two in the 12 years we have had him.
He might be too stupid to know how to get sick.

The cat just had over $1K of medical stuff (mostly teeth).
Bad kitty…

Our cat Dexter brought a "gift" into the house a few years ago, he made a different kind of "miauw" when he entered the house through the hatch so we knew there was something going on :D

This is really common with mama cats, they feed their young by bringing home gifts, then they continue to do this while teaching them to hunt. It's the way they are wired for survival. Our feral mama has been trying to teach us to hunt for a couple of years, we are a total failure in her mind!

So many cat haters have been ignored in this thread. I even decided to not do business with a soundproofing company coz their rep doesn't like cats and made a joke about it okay for cats getting into and eating your insulation materials. :rollno:

Are you aware of the term "dead cats" when talking about acoustic control? "Throw a few more dead cats on the wall to bring the RT-60 down another 0.1 seconds..."

Urban Dictionary
Can't swing a dead cat.
When you live in such a small town that you run into someone you know EVERY time you go out. Short for "you can't swing a dead cat by the tail without hitting 2 people you know." Basically means you live in too small a town. In gestured form is done by a circling of one hand in the air like a lassoing action.
