Cat Tail/King and Blower Box Question

Not tried the Blower unfortunately, but the Cat Tail is brilliant. Was my main drive for both bass and guitar for a long time - loads of bass response and with the second gain control replaced both a fuzz and a boost on my board. Would love to try some of the other circuit variations.

After a year or so of owning the pedal I had an issue with the output dying while on a tour; Ryan answered my troubleshooting email within 30 minutes and identified the issue via photo. It turned out to be a simple fix of the input jack rotating under stress and grounding out on the chassis but can't recommend his response to helping me out with a second hand pedal with no warranty highly enough. Great service.

Thanks for the replies guys. I've read a lot about the fuzzrocious customer service and the same for idiotbox but I'm actually not based in America so will be buying them through a 3rd party without mods etc. I really was just curious to hear from anyone that has used both if they are different enough and if I would be justified buying the two of them or should I really just decide on one or the other.

I'm available via email if you'd like to talk more - [email protected]. We have three excellent UK-based dealers too - Joe's Pedals, Guitar FX Direct, and FX Pedal Planet.
