I recently received this on trade because like I said in my original post, it would be too hard to resist trades. Thanks a lot Danny! :spit:;) I am glad I did trade because I will now be ordering a custom CB as soon as I get out of debt.

This is a custom CB D bass that is actually featured on the CB site: http://www.cbbasses.com/basses-060111.htm

The specs and pro pics are all on that page, I included the pics that Danny sent me because they are way better than I could have done. The only issue is one small ding about the size of the tip of a ballpoint pen where a standard side input jack would be. I can get a photo if requested. Other than that there is no wear whatsoever.

Another thing you might notice is that on the CB site it has Nordstrand Fat Stacks and in the other photos it has Big Singles. They were swapped a couple months ago by Carey Nordstrand himself.

The sound and versatility of this bass is amazing!!!! That extra master tone does wonders. I'd always wondered how it would sound and now I know, and I love it. I'm going to get this same electronics set when I order my custom CB.

Now on the 'bay with a starting bid of $1650!

Actually, the pickups were NOT installed by Carey...they were installed by me. I did it in my living room in Oregon 4 days after I got it. I traded that bass to Danny for his LEJ, and I sold the Dual Coils to Wilbyman.

...just for clarification. I wouldn't want anyone to open the control cavity and think Carey's solder work is THAT bad...:D Just kidding...I did a clean install...;)

Thank you for clearing that up. Regardless of who put them in, they put them in well and they sound fantastic. +Bump.
