Cell Phone help?

My phone got wet today, so I shut it down and let it sit for several hours. Upon turning it back on, the display showed "Car Kit" on it. I could receive incoming calls and make calls, but I can't hear the person on the other end, nor can they hear me. (My friend and I tested it out standing next to each other).

Any ideas?

The fact that the display showed "Car Kit" is kinda weird..

Anyway, Whenever i get an electrical component wet i take it apart and put it near a fan for about an hour.

I don't think water damage is covered under the warranty.

What water damage? it just randomly stopped working! I have no idea why

Let it dry out overnight then give it a shot. If it still doesn't work its probably shot. Phones do weird things when they're dieing.
