cello for sr 506 or fender fretless?

So i am in possession of a cello that a friend gave me to pay me back. Its a Bonn student cello. Im not much of a cello player as i much rather prefer using my fingers to a bow.
So its been on craigslist. I got a response from craigslist to trade for either a mim fender fretless or an ibanez sr 506
currently i have a corvette standard fretless so the fender isnt too exciting. i dont have a 6 string but im not sure the ibanez is worth it....
the cello is valued less than $500
Think the trade is worth it?

Start a new thread for that instead of tacking it at the end of a completely unrelated thread

Well, you can have sloppy intonation when playing on the fretless, as a person that owned an SR-506, it is fretted... and cannot be intonated period... so if that is a factor for you, think about it.

If you are not playing the cello, I'd get the fretless, but that is just me.
