I've recently gone down the Fender rabbit hole and decided to try to find an AVRI '62 Jazz bass. With COVID, I'd rather buy online and be safe, but worried with getting getting screwed. Saw a listing for $3500 of a Fullerton one that clearly got taken apart and had pickups swapped and probably a couple of others things...
Is there a site that is a reputable reseller of old Fender basses? I don't mind paying a bit of a premium if it means someone's checked it, confirmed it has the OG pickups, etc.
