Hello - tooling about in my mind this chambering of bass bodies. When it comes down to it, is there such a thing tonally or is it all about weight reduction and for an electric instrument the tone comes from the preamp and any on bass electronics? Is this correct. A 2" deep chamber and 4" deep chamber would be the same electrically processed? Hope this is clear. Because acoustical deeper basses sound different than thinner bodied ones. Piezo only basses need apply.
