Change American Standard Jaguar J pickup?

Hi,

I own an American Standard Jaguar 2014, I'd like to replace the J pickup as it can get quite noisy. I was wondering if anyone has done it, what did you change it for and how difficult was it do to considering the complex Jaguar circuitry?
