changed bodies on my t-40- keep the original?

Ok, So I bought a Natural wood body for my t-40 on the evilbay. is in pretty good shape, and I picked it up for a reasonable price. I just received it today, and put all the hardware from my existing t-40 onto it. (my current one is black, with a rosewood fingerboard). My question is, should I keep the original body, just to have all the original parts together? in other words, if I sell my original body, will it ruin the value? I see the prices going up on these, could they ever be "vintage"?

The prices are going up on them. I've seen them more then double or even triple in the last year. Bought a 79' almost 2 years ago for $100 and it is easily worth $300. Not sure how high they will eventually go but they are great bass's and I would think that the completely original one's will have the greatest value.
