Changed tone cap, volume got more sensitive, is this normal?

Hi!
I've changed the tone cap on my P-bass (fender clone, passive pups) from .068 to .047
It sounds fine, but when I have the tone pot in full off (cuting the highs), the volume pot is very sensitive in the first 10% of the movement.

If i have the volume full on and then rotate only a bit (about 10%), I get a very steep sound reduction.
This didn't happen with the other cap :P Is this normal?

I used a .047nF 5% polybox capacitor.

Thanks :)
