Changeling Cabs vs Hathor Cabs

Interesting in hearing the difference in these two styles of cabs.

Both great cabinet lines. To be very general, I believe the Changeling is more flat-response, good for upright. Hathor are nice and balanced, voiced for electric bass, and work great as a rock bass cabinet.

Hathor and Changeling are basically the same design. Changeling has an additional rear-firing mid driver(s).

Both are effective for monitoring when stuck very near the cab. And they sound great. Probably the best I could hear myself on any stage in the time that I had them.

I wouldn't hold out for a Changeling if it came down to availability, unless you are often stuck behind your cab or a drummer complains about not being able to hear you. I suspect there were many more Hathors made and see them more often in the Classifieds vs the Changeling.

Thunderchild is the "flat response, good for upright" cab.
