I am looking into changing the speaker in my Ampeg BA115.At present the speaker thats in it,is from SLM Electronics i'm looking to put in an Eminence Kappa Pro this is where my questions comes in.
What Ohm speaker do i get 4 or 8 and will it make the amp sound better,as i'm also thinking of adding a jack socket on the back of the amp so that i could use it as a combo for home use,or as a half stack with an Ampeg B2RE head for more power if needed i like the look & size/weight of the BA115 and think that it would look nice as a half stack.
There was also a thread about a circut board on the BA115 that if you changed made the combo sound better,will try and find that thread later.
