Changing the bridge

I would like to change the bridge and update my Squier VM Jaguar Sp. I like the Hipshot A, but anyone knows what is the lenght between strings at the bridge (0.75", 0.78"...).
In the other hand, I am not sure if it fits in the Jaguar model (5 screws).

3/4", and you will most likely need to drill 4 new holes, no biggie, I've done it many times, on some rather expensive basses, too (3 ZONS).
