Channel Strip/Pre-amp with Headhpone jack.

I'm looking for a channel strip or a pre-amp (with DI) that has a headphone jack. I'm basically looking for something that is a pre, DI, and headphone/practice amp.

The Avalon U5 is an obvious choice, but I would like to see your suggestions for what else is out there with a headphone jack. Let's try to keep it under $1000.

The U5 is great, that's what I use and it seems to give me a great tone every time. Also, the Fender TBP-1 is a great unit too, it has a Jensen transfomer DI, I use it for recording also, it is tube so it's a different color/tone than the U5, and I believe street price is around $650.00.
Edit: The TBP-1 doesn't have a headphone jack, sorry. Are you using it for recording or as a live rig? If you're recording can't you monitor from your soundcard?

I can monitor through my soundcard, but I am also looking at something that will function as a headphone/practice amp.

I'm not playing out live much anymore. When I do, I am through the PA. I am mostly doing studio work now.

I've got to tell you, the Focusrite TrakMaster looks awfully appealing. You can blend the playback material with the input.

It doesn't have an XLR out, though.

I use the Focusrite Saffire Pro 26i/o as my interface/soundcard and it's given me awesome results!!! It might be too many channels though. Also, how about the new EA Micro 300, I have one on order, hopefully they'll release them soon.

I have an EA iAmp 350 now, but I am looking for something to take when I record, and to practice through quietly.

The Micro doesn't have a headphone out nor does it have an XLR output.

It's a pity...I wish they would have kept it 1 channel but left the aux in, headphone out, and nice DI that the iamps have. It would have been an instant purchase for me :-/

I spent a lot of time researching the Summit TD-100, even called the company to talk to them about it. Everyone who has played with the unit has nothing but good things to say. Although I have not gotten my hands on one, it will be my next purchase.
