Chasing Obrad Lacarac's Postmodern P Bass Tone

Don't chase specific gear to get a particular tone. Of course you're not going to get that tone with a J bass with flats. So, you know you want a P bass with rounds. You'll want to play as many as you can and you may just find the one that speaks to you.

Can't edit my original post for some reason, but this seems solved.

Consensus seems to be:
1. Git gud
2. Get a P Bass
* Price doesn't matter
* Specs don't matter
* My connection with the bass matters <- Connection + Skill = Magic
* Not an absolute garbage bass, but even inexpensive modern basses will do the thing.
3. Put rounds I like on the bass
4. Git gud
