Cheap amp - recommendations?

I'm looking for a decent sized amp (around 100 is good) to gig with - what sorta thing could you recommend from your past experiences etc? Looking to spend as little as possible! Thanks...

Behringer doesnt have a good name here on TB but i never had a problem. They are rlly cheap.

I've had pot issues with behringer stuff that I've gigged

Hartke Kickback.... Peavey TNT, TKO etc... would be better cash uses.

Cheap, decent bass amps (especially used) usually say "Peavey" or "Carvin", possibly "Yorkville". But you're in the UK, so I'm not sure what amp brands are predominantly available in your locale.

Is 100 solid state watts going to be enough? How loud is your band? If you're playing rock with a drummer who uses solid sticks, not Power Sticks, you may need more than 100 watts.

I don't know if it will fit your budget, but I think it's cheap and good value for money:

Gallien Krueger Backline 600 (BL600)

300W @4ohms, 200W (or 180?) @8ohm

But then you still need a cab, I assume you want a combo amp. (??)

GK Backline 112 maybe.

Or Ashdown Electric Blue series, 12" or 15" combo.
Discontinued I believe. Look for them used.

I would have to 2nd or third the Peavey TKO or TNT series. Had one in the house for a while and it proved to be a good work horse for us, used for all types of things.
