Good news is Gibson seems to use GM paint colors.

Better than thin CA?

I don't know about that. It just seems to make sense to use fingernail polish hardener on fingernail polish. I have used thin CA to lock in a chip that was going to break off, and that's done really well over the years.

Told ya !!!
Now just be patient... Paint will shrink as it dries
This repair will take a few fills
I would do one every night until just proud of the surface .. then wet sand and polish !!!

Looks awesome the way it is. Leave it alone.

Or try the nail polish route. Build up slowly over days.

This was almost a pinky nail sized chip that I elected to glue back down with thin CA. Acetone made quick work of some runoff that happened...... and it didn't screw up the finish. Its been 9 years and I haven't needed to find a color to match, thankfully.
