Choosing cabinet for GRBass one800

I have a GRBass one800 and a Sandberg California bass. I bought the GrBass as the sound is great.
But.... if I play the low B-strong the speaker starts "flopping" (I don't know the exact term but I guess you can imagine what I mean).
Some people advice the 15" cabinet, as this should carry the sound further.
Looking in other posts in talkbass.com I see that a stick to 12" (GRBass GR212) would be better a you would get a better spectrum and don't fill the whole room with bass, which would be better playing with a loud drummer and guitarist.
Again, the sound is already great, but the low is the issue.
I hope someone can advice or has a similar setup.
