Chowny SWB-1 info please

I’m interested in a SWB-1 fretless. Has anyone here tried one? @chowny Is there any issue getting one shipped to the US because of the Rosewood board and CITES?

SWB-1 has an ebony board.

I ordered the used one that Guitar Center had... great price.

It feels good... the only complaint that I have is that it seems to be wired wrong? The neck pickup is fine, the bridge pickup is fine... use them together and it's out of phase and hollow sounding.

The tone knob also doesn't seem to have much effect?

Still probably worth keeping...

Active or Passive? Can you email me a photo of the pickups (to [email protected]) and if possible the inside of the control cavity? We will help you get to the bottom of this.
