Chris squire's actual picking technique.

I've seen lots of people talking about him using his thumb and the pick to do a sort of artificial harmonic sound but in pretty much every song he plays on he does not use this, (he uses it to accentuate a few notes on The Remembering.) In the Live at QPR footage he has his pinky on the bridge and has his other three fingers clumped together in sort of a claw shape... he plays fingerstyle with his thumb and index to play octaves at the beginning aswell !! What do you guys think? here is the QPR video
