Double Bass Claiming humidity damage on Insurance

As a general rule, humidity isn't considered a claimable damage because it's not spontaneous, accidental and unpredictable.
Unless of course if it results from another cause like a real water damage or fireman water.
You house or rental insurance won't cover it.
Even an all risk covered instrument specific contract might hardly apply, for the same reasons.
You know there is moisture in your storage area, it's up to you to solve it or stock instruments elsewhere.
