Classic look 5 string basses?

Why do almost all 5 strings look like furniture, spaceships or demonic torture instruments? There are so few in the Gibson, Rick, Mosrite, Hagstrom style.
I know Gibson has had a few, but other than that I've not been able to find anything.

Any good examples of 5 strings in this style? No Fender P's or J's please.

Fender P's and J's are everywhere. I just find them boring to look at because the market is so flooded with them. Other Fenders are fine, a 5 string Jaguar for instance would be interesting.

Yes, agreed. But everyone knows what they look like, they are in every guitar shop in the world. My intent here was to dig up classic looking fivers you might not have seen before.

I don't really know if you'd consider it a classic (though I probably would at this point) but a lot of the ibanez atk models are very nice 5's. I consider the ash with black pick guard models classics; they remind me of '70s fenders.
