Here's a great presentation on Dragonetti and the three-stringed bass. The instrument Doug Balliet borrowed for the talk has two plain guts and then what looks like a Eudoxa?
In any case, he plays "in the style" for Dragonetti, which is quite a joy to listen to IMO.
