Classifieds Too Cumbersome to Navigate

Why is it not possible to view only the actual items for sale instead of for sale for trade sold bla bla bla all mixed in. Someone show me how to search and end up with a list of Fender Precision Basses For Sale. Not Sold, For Trade Etc just For Sale. I buy 1994 to current Fender American Standard Precision Basses, nothing else. To the people here that have one for sale, I tried. You're too buried in the forest. Feel free to contact me if you have one for sale.

1. Click on the search bar
2. At the bottom click "More..."
3. Click on the heading for "Search Threads And Posts"
4. Type whatever keyword you want, for your purpose it'd be "American Precision"
5. Check the box for search titles only
6. Under thread prefixes section, select "For Sale"
7. Scroll to the bottom and select the checkbox for "Display Results As Threads"

The only other thing I would add to this is that you can also use the "newer than" field to specify a date range. Helpful if you saw a post but didn't remember the title but knew the approximate date.

I just use the buttons at the top left that and click the one I want.

While that user experience leaves a LOT to be desired (that is super clunky) - at least you can then bookmark the search and just open that direct, instead of having to trudge through 7 steps to perform a simple search.
