Classy, wide straps?

I just bought a Warwick, and its heavy. It also like to sit perfectly level, which i'm used to with my Gibson. I searched the forum and couldn't find any wide straps.

My question is, what are some wide (more then 2 inches) that don't get stuck to your shirt (are "slippery"), and are simple in design, or classy that will compliment my purple bass.

I like my Moody 4" straps - not cheap, but worth the cash imo.

Italia makes 3" or 4" straps for bass. I have one and not only is it nice looking and well made, but it was pretty inexspensive.

Another vote for Italia Straps. I've got a couple of their 4" straps and they're excellent.

Italias all the way.. They usually have some kind of 2 for 1 sale going too.

Certainly 'classy' is quite subjective--Personally, I believe there's nothing classier than a heavy leather/shearling strap. Saying that, one of my basses wears a WideRides (http://www.widerides.com/newwebsite.html) strap that is very sturdy and comfortable. They have both a 'slippery' and 'sticky' surface too.

For me it's Moody. If I were to buy a strap today, I'd get Italia because it's cheaper.

But you get what you pay for with Moody straps. They are amazing. I've had mine for over 7 years and it looks like it'll last me for another 70. I can't vouch for Italia.

Look at it this way, it has to last you a long time, and Moody's will.

Levy's makes some nice wide leather straps. I have a 3" one and a 4" one.

I rock a 4" leather strap made in liverpool. No idea what the brand is, but they're a leather good manufacturer rather than a guitar accessory brand. But it is fantastic, comfortable, classy and goes very nicely with my Warwick.

Oh and it only cost me £30

Neotech Mega bass strap is nice, wide, comfortable and i think pretty classy. and its like $30 or so
