Cleaning my Sadowsky

I have to clean my Sadowsky. Sometimes after gigs, when breakdown has to go very fast, I don't get the time to wipe my basses off.

What can I use to get grease, dry sweat... off the body? (I am living in Europe, so products may be known under another name over here)
What finish is used on my 59 Burst Metro?

Don't clean it.. you might wipe off some of the funk!

Any standard guitar polish will work fine. If you want to be extra sure, Sadowsky offers a cleaning/care kit.

Not cleaning is an option. But Roger Sadowsky himself provides some guitar care products. If you give him a call I'm sure he'll guide you without any sales pitch.

I use Alembic Super Polish on all of my basses (including a Metro). Basically spray it on and buff it off. It's quite nice as it doesn't build up any residue.

I've been using the Sadowsky Every Day Polish right after gigs it's great a little of it goes a long way. I got my first bottle two years ago and I'm still using it.
