Up for sale is my Clements 6 string bass. It is beautiful and hard to let go, but I found a Ken Smith BSR6 fretless a while back and just picked up another BSR6A fretted. I really like having the consistency of the same bass going back and forth. This will be missed but I promised my wife it would help fund the recent BSR6A.
So this is up for sale, sorry no trades as I don't need other basses at this time. From Tom's website: 18-34-6 Kim 28 position neck Black Limba body with Spalted Maple top. Black Limba and Wenge neck with Bocote fretboard. Bart pups and preamp. 9.9 lbs. The numbers: 18mm spacing - 34" scale - 6 strings and yes, 28 frets. The Black Limba has a very mahogany sound so this bass sounds extremely clean. You can see it on his website, it's #277 in the Classic family gallery. Everything is in beautiful shape except the logo is missing a few sections of the circle- see pics. Tom builds a beautiful bass. I changed the knobs to match the bass but happy to throw in the originals too. I have owned it for about a year and I think there were 2 previous owners. Ships in a semi-rigid gig bag/case. I've also tried to upload a few recordings I did with it. Any "lead" guitar sounds you hear are all on the Kim. Its that nice...
