Double Bass Clevenger Keyhole Bass/w Diamond Sonance Pickup

Hello,
I have one of the original Clevenger Keyhole Basses with the "Diamond Sonance" Pickups. Martin doesn't build this model pickup anymore. I was wondering what pre amps you would suggest using with this particular bass. Using a Fishman Pre A II helps with the overall sound of the instrument, but I'm sure that there are better options these days.
