Clover XP15.5

I have done a search but could not find any information on Clover guitars, has anybody got one and if so what do you think about it?
Any info would be a help as i have seen one secondhand in my local music shop and am interested in buying it but am not sure if they have any flaws.

I've got a music store in town that has Clover basses.
I have been very close to buy a XP 15.4 several times.
Never did it (so far). They sound great, feel great and are very well made. Perfectly balanced, versatile.....yeah, you know what I mean.

However, they are pricey and it's often not easy to sell these "exotic" basses. If you find a buyer, you'll usually lose a lot of money.
I like to buy and sell stuff from time to time (to cure GAS attacks), so I always have an eye on resale value. If the price in the store you saw the bass is good - go and get it!

I took the plunge and baught the bass, it felt and sounded great when i played it last week but it has taken me a few days to decide to part with the money, the list price is £1450 and the shop was selling this used one for £999 its in mint condition and the last owner traded it in for another Clover which shows his faith in the brand. So i looks like my Lakland 55-01 will be relegated to backup which is a shame really but when the GAS takes hold there is not much you can do!

I really am liking the looks of these basses, any place ot get them in the U.S., the site lists some but theres nothing on those dealers websites.

Sorry to resurrect a zombie here but I was searching for info on Clover basses and it seems like NOBODY on here owns one. This OP appears to have bought one but a review was requested a month ago and there's been no response.

I've seen their ads here on TB and they look really nice and I'd love to find a place that actually stocks them so I could try one out.

Any info??

Low End Bass Shop usually has Clover's also.

UNfortunately, I'm not near the Low End Shop and Clover lists very few US dealers on their website.

Brad Johnson used to own one. A Basstard, IIRC. You might PM him for his impressions.

It was a very nice bass but in hindsight I realized it was a 36" scale. Quite a reach to first position. Mine would probably be around ten years now. It had a composite neck.
