I recall a similar problem discussed on here within the last month or two. The issue was related to a wire in the control cavity that needed to be moved. A photo of the culprit wire was posted here and the owner solved the problem pretty easily.

Sweet looking bass. I remember the UV series used to come with the Fender style knobs. Great look.

I'd did have fender knombs, but we're changed to Sadowsky black ones by one of previous owners.

Anyway, UV all the way!

Weird question, has anyone ever thought about using the knobs from the Sadowsky SA200 Amp on a Sadowsky bass? For some odd reason, this is jumping out at me.

I had always assumed they were the same as on the bass. Are they just larger maybe?

Sorry for the slow reply guys.. both pj’s and JJ’s are amazing.. I’m a creature of habit and have become very used to having the “P” sound.. I find the PJ still cuts very well but with a touch more beef.. just to my ears.. that’s why I’ve Always loved the PJ’s.. all the cut of a J but with the bottom of a P.. again, that’s just my personal taste .. peace,
