Is that a VCS-3 synth sitting up on the bench there?

I just moved to it from a B3K. I was scared at first because I adore how the B3K sounded in my rig, even though I wanted a Meatsmoke from the first time I heard it. Holy cajones this thing is just....mean though! I've got an unmodded Boss DS-1 in a loop on my board, it sounded ok before but the sounds it makes now...wow. So far I've only been able to listen via headphone out on my amp but I'm blown away.

I need to play around with it some more and I'm sure it makes a difference in a band setting, but the boost seems to be substantially louder. I can't see hitting Boost during a song without the sound guy wanting to unplug me. Just an initial observation though, through headphones at that.

Does the same thing live. Stomp the boost and mow EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING down!

My tone is crushing. I was skeptical at first, but after getting in the mix tonight.... I'm sold. The guitarist's eyes got as big as half dollars and literally yelled "Holy ba-jesus" when I plugged in. I gave him and the drummer a normal tone, then I gave them my new Meatsmoke tone. Yeah, they don't want me to play without it :D
