Is it slow to load initially, or is the page slow to respond after the page loads? Are you on wifi or cellular network?

Often times it never really fully loads. I get a bunch of text in an odd format.

That helps a lot - are you on a desktop or phone? If you have the time to do one thing for me, I'll show you how to do a traceroute to images.talkbass.com - see if we can find a bottleneck. If you get text in a weird format on the screen, it means you're not getting the css files properly. They're on that images.talkbass.com domain.

I might not be a good source. I have images turned off in my browser. I do keep them turned on in my other browser though...

And to be clear, i got the same results with both, though I'm not "logged in" on the other browser.
