I am the guy making Zero-Mod thumb rests
for Rics and Jazz basses, and I have had more than a few
emails about Lakland basses, and making a rest to fit
the way my Jazz does!
Since I have no experience with these personally, if
you folks who own and work on them could enlighten me
about a few things?

Are the pickguards identical in screw hole pattern and spacing
to Fender Jazz, or just somewhat different?

If anybody could post a cellpic taken direct over the neck pickup
with a small pocket ruler in the pic I would owe you a solid :hyper:

All information is good information at this point, thanks!

I have seen some models that look exactly like Fender in layout and particulars, but
was sure that many are not. Would surprise me to hear the pickups are a different
size - makes sourcing replacements a lot tougher, for those guys always trying "the next" great pickup...
