Colorado GTG Redux!

Sounds like a lot of fun. I have read about these events but never had the time (uh, courage) to go.

Looking forward to it and hope it fits my schedule.

+1 to jrug, he spearheaded the last one (only one I've been to so far) and it was pretty cool! I could do up another flyer too, once the details get ironed out.

I can't make the end of the month though, I'm out of state from July 25th to Aug 1st...

Simple is a great idea. I kinda liked the jam later on at the first GTG, so if anyone has a drum kit...

But I'm good for anything until aug 15th. Then it's off to school.

Aye, i'm down for simple. In fact, since I live on the other side of the state about all I can do is find a spot and show up with a bass and some drums if we need them. I'm going to be headed through the front range on the 22nd and coming back around the 30th and hanging in Denver for a few days, thus my desire for a date around that time. That keeps it more simple for me!

The biggest thing I want to know is how many people. Who was at the last gtg and how many people were there? My guess is 10-15?


btw 5sg, we could do it on the 2nd possibly if that works for you? A Sunday could be a good day....

I think a total of 20 people showed up throughout the day with about 10-15 guys who were there the whole time.

Nice, my estimate was pretty accurate. I'm going to talk to some friends and i'll see what I can do.

Anyone else that knows a good spot don't hesitate to put it out there, though, it's a big city and i'm sure we can find something good.

no, i've only been in CO since november, so i know nothing.

Don't forget that the Link Removed (formerly the Lodo Bass Bash) is August 7 & 8. In addition to whatever we settle on for the GTG, it would be killer to meet y'all there.

It's at the Link Removed, 9635 W. Colfax, in Lakewood. It's a pretty quirky place. Part used book shop, part used record shop, part used comic book shop, etc...

I have been slammed for time lately but I'll be at the bass bash at some point - it's like 5 minutes from my house!

...well my searching has been largely fruitless so far, i'm hoping someone living over there will find a good spot to gather. I will do some more legwork this week while i'm staying in denver and see if anything comes together.

Either way this bass bash sounds like a lot of fun, we'll just have to see what happens.
