I've been away from my Fender standard P-Bass for awhile, so I'm kinda back to learning my old stuff. While I'm working on that and have some money saved up, I've been looking to upgrade the stock parts to give me the sounds I'm looking for not to mention personalize my bass.
My styles of music are various rock(heavy/punk/ska/modern/classic), and starting to get into jazz and blues.
What would be the ideal pickup and string combo to suit my field of style?
Also, I'm still new when it comes to certain parts, but would a Badass bridge be effective anyway toward sound?
