Yep. It was a good joke about having walls and walls of 'stuff.'

Fine. But why read TB, then?Meh, who cares what people think. I just like to play bass.

Fair enough. That works for me!Because I like bass pr0n as much as anyone else. I just don't care to indulge in the endless discussions ad nauseam that one bass/amp/pedal/etc. is microscopically better than another for a specific task, 99.99% of which is completely unverifiable subjective opinion.

Hilarious. The common misconception is that you need to grill chicken in order to sound like Geddy Lee. Actually even vegetarians could sound like him just if you put a big grill behind your back.
No 7..
Every bass that has a Jazz shape is a Jazz bass...Uh..it isnt!!!

Well, it must have been a long time since you've seen him live. Ged no longer uses laundry equipment for his awesome bass sound.

Hmm, this is gonna get interesting.
Okay, I'll play. I think the biggest one is Tone Is All In The Fingers, I Sound The Same No Matter What Gear I Use. WRONG: that's style, not tone. You do not have the same tone when you switch from a Fender P-bass to a Warwick Thumb unless maybe you're using a crappy amp and gobs of distortion.
I was going to address the "tone is in the fingers" thing, but it's already been said.
