Compact Effects Loop?

I'm sure we all battle with excess cables running to our effects loop, the 4 cable method, plus amp footswitch perhaps. For me, I'm running 3 cables for the effects loop, plus the from the bass, and a footswitch.

To my mind, this would be a perfect candidate for an additional pair of boxes that you could plug all your cables into, run one wire over to the amp, and then have another 4 or whatever coming out to connect to the amp.

Does this exist? I'm sure it's not beyond the will of man, but I'm probably not the guy who's going to build it! I would have thought the cable inbetween would need to be one with more bandwidth than your normal guitar lead, and would have to be encoded and decoded at either end.

There are two products Pedal Python and another called PedalSnake for cable management system for the four and more cable system there may be others.

Thanks for that. I found that website strangely difficult to understand. They don't evert quite explain what the product is, I don't think.

Am I right in saying that it's a rubberised cable sleeve with a number of DIN cables running through it? What I also couldn't tell from the website is how they take those DIN cables and convert them back to something you can actually plug in.

Am I missing something?

My idea was that you had a little box at your amp, and a little box on your pedal board. You run patch cables from the little box at the amp into your amp, and run patch cables from the little box on your pedalboard to your pedals. Then, between each of these cables you run a single cable which carries the information, decoding and encoding it at each end.

Thanks for clarifying.

What I’m hoping to achieve somehow is:
