Compressor in metal??

I know compressor maybe the most difficult effect to use, cause if using it not properly it could ruin a good recorded bass.
This are some isolated bass tracks I like.
Played with a pick
Megadeth-Wake up Dead


Can you guess if this tracks are compressed??
I can play with fingers and with a pick. Is the compressor more present in Harris track with fingers or in the other 2 played with a pick???
I have a DBX 160A compressor, I know harris used one.
