gotta love them! Hey John, I'm sure it's been said.... which one is your "go to"? Do you have a favorite / most played?

yeah, the 2 on the floor were the ones that i played the most with my band, when we gigged and recorded. i've been playing a lot on the 8's lately (on either side of the doubleneck), in conjunction with some guitar synth wackiness - the hollows also have the capability to interface with the guitar synth, so they see a good amount of use too.

Bassius wins! Damn that bass is sweet. Mark...maybe if you woulda actually had that Super Man logo :p The second one on the couch (the blackk ooze-like one) is my favourite outa JT's bunch.

yeah, that one is called an "ultimelt" - bill has made a few like that. that particular instrument is featured on the conklinguitars website, along with a few of my other basses, in the various galleries (my fretted 8 string is featured in the first cherished customs for january i think).

yep, that's the pattern they made for my doubleneck. i gotta visit the shop, just to see that.

Glad you changed that upper horn!!!! the one on the template doesn't look anything like any of the Conklins I've seen and I really don't like it personally, while the modified horn on your DN ( and several subsequent copycats :D ) looks better than the original sidewinder shape.
