Connecting Hartke HD410 cabinets

Dear fellow TBers

please advise on method for connecting 2x Hartke HD410 cabinets in series (daisy chain) from Bridge at rear of Hartke LH1000 amp using 2 Speakon cables with connectors at both ends to achieve a 4 ohm load to amp (ie both cabs are 8 ohms).

I know the cable from Bridge output at rear of the amp connects to Input connector at rear of first cabinet but what connector points are used to connect the second cabinet to the first using a similar Speakon cable with connectors..see image attached of rear of each cabinet. Is it from the speakon connector labelled extension on rear first cabinet to the speakon connector labelled Input rear of second cabinet or is it using only from/to the speakon connectors labelled extension at rear of both cabinets?

For your information: In a Series connection, the electricity passes through one cabinet, and then through the next one. In a Parallel connection, the electricity separates and passes through both cabinets at the same time. So, parallel connections provide two paths for the current to flow, while series connections have only one path.

One way to tell is that if you disconnect one of the cabinets in a parallel connection, the other one will continue to play. If you disconnect one cabinet in a series connection, all the sound stops.

Whilst the above is true in the physical sense that the second speaker is linked to the amp via the first speaker, electrically it is not a serial connection which would result in a 16 ohm load. Electrically, the speakers are connected to the amp in parallel mode, meaning the two 8 ohm cabs present a 4 ohm load to the amp. Obviously, removing the single cable from the amp to the first cab would result in both cabs not working, but electically both cabs are linked in parallel mode to the amp. In fact, it's almost impossible to connect these cabs to that head in serial mode electrically.
