i was thinking about some fancy top, but i really like the natural ash against the black ebony.

  2. it is pretty much impossible to go wrong with a sadowsky. if that is what you like best than go for it. I know I would.

I have enough for everyone, but I'm not sharing. :bassist:

  6. Ohhh - I think the ebony board with the black hardware will look great against the ash. Are you getting that half pickguard too?

A Modern and a J. Sounds like a great combo to me!

Wait a minute, Mister. we need to check your quota of cool basses......Well you are getting close to the max limit but you should be ok.

NICE! I'm with Jeff, ebony would look quite nice. And just ask Jeff, snakewood would be sublime.;)

    Hi!

I think it's a great idea. I have an ebony board on my standard 5. It's awesome. Very similar to maple in tone. Enjoy

your vint. is the only sadowsky i've ever seen that i've like (based purely on aesthetics).

personally, i think the one you're planning on getting looks like ass :)
