Considering the Sire Marcus Miller M7

Sound amazing, versatile as all get out. My wife even wanted me to get one because the blue one "looks like candy."
I ended up passing on it because I knew I'd spend more time fiddling with knobs than playing music, but if that's no issue for you, I say go for it

2021 sire M7 v2 4 string
a picture speaks a thousand words, so….
plays and sounds as nice as it looks, build quality is awesome. Tonal range is vast, nuanced and easy to get lost in. $850 delivered from Chicago Music exchange, included pretty nice MM gig bag. arrived in 5 days. super pleased !

Well....here it is, guys!!! Man, I'm stoked with this bass!! No regrets getting this!!! Sounds AWESOME out of my new rig, too! Here's a couple of pics!!

Do you still own and love the M7? I know this is an old thread, but I've been waffling on a Sire for a long time.

I still don't understand why the M5 has a 5 piece neck, but the top of the line M7 doesn't. (Lefty) M7s also seem to be more available these days.

One more question: Any fret issues? I've heard some bad reports - even from Sire lovers. Hoping these are the exception and not the rule.
