That bass has been on my GAS list ever since I played one in a local store. Felt and sounded really nice. Hope it works out for you!

Sound amazing, versatile as all get out. My wife even wanted me to get one because the blue one "looks like candy."
I ended up passing on it because I knew I'd spend more time fiddling with knobs than playing music, but if that's no issue for you, I say go for it

plays and sounds as nice as it looks, build quality is awesome. Tonal range is vast, nuanced and easy to get lost in. $850 delivered from Chicago Music exchange, included pretty nice MM gig bag. arrived in 5 days. super pleased !

Do you still own and love the M7? I know this is an old thread, but I've been waffling on a Sire for a long time.

I still don't understand why the M5 has a 5 piece neck, but the top of the line M7 doesn't. (Lefty) M7s also seem to be more available these days.

One more question: Any fret issues? I've heard some bad reports - even from Sire lovers. Hoping these are the exception and not the rule.
