Maybe y'all have seen this already, but I figure I'd post just in case...

It has come to our attention that a Chinese firm doing business online at Link Removed and Link Removed is selling unauthorized counterfeit Spector Basses. This company is not an authorized SPECTOR® dealer and we cannot verify what, if anything you would receive if you purchased one of their "incredibly discounted" items.

Don't You kinda have to expect foulplay with a name like 'Honestyfirm' ?

Like "Honest Johns Used cars"?


Just makes me laugh, as I can picture a bunch of folks over there "Brainstorming" over a name that people would like to do business with.

"Well, we're actually stealing designs and selling them as the originals...but we don't want people to think we're dishonest...hmm..how bout HONESTYFIRM?...then they'll know we're honest. All in favor?.. "

You get the Idea.

I was gonna type using a "Chinese accent" but that wouldn't be politically correct.Besides, Its most likely an American company doing business in China.

Looks like both links are down. I wonder if everything will pop up somewhere later. FYI, a friend of mine bought a fake Ibanez Jem guitar from a company like this, and it was an unplayable piece of junk.
If you must go out for Chinese takeout, probably Rondo Music is as good (and at least honest about what they sell) as anyone.....
OK, looks like both of them are back up again.....

I didn't say it was...I said most likely.
and it was actually "sarcasm"..(Not sure if you're aware, but over the last several yrs , a few US companys have been "expanding" into China..and others just startup in China, but are run by folks right here in the US...enjoying plenty of benefits of both places.)

Hope that clears it up a little.

You clearly said It's most likely (an American company doing business in China). Where was the sarcasm


That's no different than some one saying you most likely molested a child.

Wouldn't you want the accusation proven?
