and

The Well Hungarians (Nashville, current)

and

The Hoosier Daddies (some Indiana transplants, mostly session guys, who did occasional live dates in the 80s/90s)

I like "Breschdleng", it's Swabian-German for Strawberry and almost nobody
knows what it means in every other part of Germany, they play hardcore
with German lyrics about their hometown and stuff.

Very good! Kraftwerk is a great one. I was told it means powerplant. It is very cool because it doesn't sound so German. It kind of makes you wonder if they invented something in English or if it really is German.
