As TB's self-proclaimed number one afficionado, connoisseur, expert and fanboy of all things Meshuggah, I thought I'd share these unusual and creative cover versions in one place.

If you don't know the band, you'll probably just give a bit of a shrug and move on.

However, if you know Meshuggah and the intricacies, subtleties amd majesty of their work, you'll love these versions. Even if you've seen them before, they are always worth another viewing.

Enjoy. Even if no one checks them out, it was fun putting them in one place.

Wow, that Behind the Sun cover was amazing.

+1

I had no idea there were such covers out there. Thanks for the thread!

Off topic warning - I had a University Radio Show called the Friday Night Metal Meltdown back in 1996 where I'd play Meshuggah tunes every week. They had an old vinyl record of their early days I'd kill to get my hands on now. I mostly played NONE and Destroy Erase Improve tracks from Nuclear Blast.

Here's a thread I that Meshuggah guys might appreciate.

I saw Meshuggah Live in 2012. It was awesome. Dick Lovgren has the sweetest Warwick custom shops I swear.

I've seen em countless times. Here's a phone shot from the Koloss tour :)
