Cool rock n roll photos

Kurt Cobain and Kim Deal.
Kurt Kim.jpg

May 16, 1970 at The Warehouse in N'Orleans turned out to be the last stop of Pink Floyd's abbreviated US tour. after the gig while the band slept in their hotel room someone stole $40,000 worth of their equipment, four guitars including David Gilmour's original black Strat which he had purchased just a few weeks before, an electric organ, 4,000 watt sound system, 12 speaker cabinets, echo units, microphones, two drum kits and miles of cable, most of which would be be borrowed for the Isle Of Wight stage a few months later. the thieves were never caught but the equipment magically reappeared after the band's Management paid a finder's fee to the New Orleans Police Union slush fund. the band was so shook that they didn't return to the city for 24yrs.
