A good young Bassist playing a sweeet Coranado...last song of the night; One Love...Temple Bar, Dublin...
Used to be a Temple Bar here in LA. I was there their last night open, and my housemate's bNd played.
I got food poisoning from the Calimari and shat for 10 days straight.

It's not there anymore, but Eammonn Doran's in Temple Bar used to have the old Thin Lizzy sign from their stage show.

A little humble brag...
When I used to live in Dublin, "Irish John" Earl who toured with Thin Lizzy playing sax, lived in my neighborhood. His health was failing but he was always happy. Whenever I saw him at a pub, I'd buy him a couple pints and he'd tell me stories of all the people he played with. He had a little book that listed every song he recorded. My girlfriend freaked out when she saw the theme to Fraggle Rock. The names I remember from the list were U2, the Clash, Ian Dury, Graham Parker, Elvis Costello, Moterhead and Bo Diddly. He said the greatest day of his life was when he got called up onstage by both Hendrix and Bob Dylan during their sets at some festival (might have be the Isle of Write).

I think he had actually thrown up in his own mouth.
A habit that would prove to be his undoing.
My wife and I saw them in April, sans Mick Jones. I realized halfway through the show that we were essentially watching a cover band since there were no original members left.
Great show, though.
